As a family owned and operated business since 1964, we take pride in delivering in-house services with regards to a wide range of areas such as quality control, the production of granular and asphalt materials, road construction and recycling. We have close ties and collaborate well with our Subcontractors to deliver on every project we undertake, demonstrating our capabilities in executing projects that include electrical, structural, underground servicing and landscaping as well as working in rail corridors or on private properties demonstrating our versatility.

There is a lot that goes into the construction of any Road, Rail and Commercial project before it even begins. Each construction project is dependent on quality materials, testing protocols and associated industrial processes to ensure their integrity and performance. Fermar is proud to have Asphalt Plants, state-of-the-art testing labs and gravel pit that exceed the requirements of the road and transportation industry. You can count on Fermar’s production facilities to produce a wide range of construction grade products that meet the most stringent requirement of any given construction sector.
EQUIPMENT
MEETING THE DEMANDS FOR INNOVATION
Fermars’ expansive fleet of equipment provides our team the equipment necessary to take on any project. Having equipment from some of the most reputable companies such as John Deere, Caterpiller, Hitachi, Bobcat and others, means that our bulldozers, excavators, skid steers, graders and other machinery are equipped with the latest technology so as to ensure the machinery used is efficient thereby assisting in expediting the productions on any project.
In terms of specialized equipment for asphalt paving, Fermar has asphalt material transfer vehicles (i.e. shuttle buggy), asphalt pavers and specific rollers that are used strictly for asphalt paving; again coming from some well-known companies such as Roadtec and Caterpiller.
